Hi,
I have just recently compiled PHP 4.0.2 with Oracle 8.1.7 using Aache
1.3.12 on a solaris 2.6 UNIX machine. I have oraclient software on our
web server and our database on another machine. I have looked at the
documentation on making a conection to an Oracle database but the
parameters for OCILogon, OCIPLogon and OCINLogon don't accept the
machine name that holds the database Ie.
$c1 = ocilogon("user","password", "instance");
Can someone give me an example of how to connect to a remote database
using PHP and oracle 8i?
Johnh
