Hi everybody,
I'm using php4 to connect to an oracle8i database. I'm using the
ora_* functions instead of the oci_* functions for simplicity of
the script that should also connect to an oracle7 database. I hope
this not be the problem.
Well, all works fine, the connection, the parse of a SQL statement
and the fetch of rows from a cursor when there are rows selected
from the result of the execution of the SQL statement. However when
there is no rows on the cursor, then the ora_fetch returns FALSE
(which is OK) and also displays a warning message like this:
Warning: Ora_Fetch failed (ORA-01722: invalid number -- while processing
OCI function OFETCH/OFEN) in /usr/local/htdocs/revisa.php on line 32
and the ora_error() function show the following:
Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-00000
I wonder what could be this problem and how can I solve it? it's
ugly to show the users those messages, is there a way to avoid
the printing of any warning message in PHP?
Thanks in advance,
