i am trying to use the strtotime function to create a unix timestamp for the following string strtotime("JUN 01 2000 12:00AM") and it will not work correctly - it returns a value in the year 1969. It will work correctly for strtotime("JUN 01 2000"). If I add HH:MM timestamp combination to the date it does not work. According to the docs the date timestamp combination should work. Am I correct in this assumption or not. Is there any string format that will work that contains the date and timestamp in the string.
