SQL Error

Hi everyone,
I'm brand new to PHP Just today! I love it so far! I am though having
trouble with a SQL error. Here it is:
Warning: SQL error: [Microsoft][ODBC Paradox Driver] The table 'Fixtures#DB'
is already opened exclusively by another user, or it is already open through
the user interface and cannot be manipulated programmatically., SQL state
S1000 in SQLExecDirect in D:\Apache\htdocs/fixtures.php on line 13
Is there anyway to avoid this? It is because the Fixtures.db table is
opened by another program. Of which can not be avoided.
