I have recently installed PHP3 on my system, with a
MySQL database. The first time I restarted the process
I had no problems. The second time however (added
options to httpd.conf) here are the problems I saw:
1- Trying to restart the process with -D PHP gave:
sqlinit: DBROOT must be set!!
(where I set DBROOT quickly for it to restart). I
tried
later and it didn't seem to need it set to anything...
(DBROOT still exists, but is empty).
2- Even with DBROOT set (or not for that matter) I get
this error message:
Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Access denied for
user: 'nnnn@localhost' (Using
password: NO) in
testing.php3 on line 3
However I do have a password set in the line. Worked
well before but now this happens...
The line I have is:
$db = mysql_connect("localhost", "nnnn", "password");
Anyone know why this would be happening now, but
worked
before?
Thanks!
Emmanuel
