alphabetical order

hi there,
i ve created a database. there are two rows in it, one is "id" and the other
consists of "film names".
i ve managed to list and print them out sorting by ids, but i just wonder if
there is a way to sort them in alphebetical order.
any example is high appreciated. thx in adv.
