Re: alphabetical order

you should be able to do this exactly the same as you have the id SELECT * FROM film_details ORDER BY film_names ASC should sort by the film name, 'A' first, up to 'Z' if that doesn't work, perhaps get all the results, drop them into an array and then sort the array, then process the array.
