I am getting this error when attempting to connect to an Informix database
from PHP
Warning: ifx_pconnect : E [SQLSTATE=IX 001 SQLCODE=-1829]
The description of this error in the Informix documentation is:
Cannot open file citoxmsg.pam.
The file citoxmsg.pam is missing from the directory $INFORMIXDIR/msg.
Here is our configuration:
Server OS: Windows NT 4.0 sp 5
Http Server: Netscape Enterprise Server 3.62
PHP version 3.0
I am attempting to run over secure http. The Netscape https server daemon
is running as an NT service from the local System user. It appears from the
error message that the Informix environment is not configured properly - in
particular the $INFORMIXDIR environment variable is missing. I set up this
environment variable as a system environment variable, but still no luck.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
