Operating system: Linux 2.2.7
PHP version: 3.0.12
PHP Bug Type: Misbehaving function
Bug description: file_exists - opendir not working in fast loop
During a wait for eof loop on a non-blocking stream,
both functions to check if a file exist report false
but the file exists, to clear the file cache on every
loop does not change anything,
also the usleep function does not wait the given
anmount of time, while the sleep function does it
correctly. Also using this function, both file functions
still do not reply correctly
It is a standard PHP3 configuration, no extra modules
(if somebody needs a cut-out of the code, mail)
