It did work just fine without the --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql option, I compiled it installed the module and it runs fine phpinfo() returns the new version number, then I noticed no mysql support so I added that option and no go. This box is from cobalt so apache has been configured a certain way, I hate to muck with it, again with apache will I be able to just compile it and copy over the new httpd and be ok, I do not want to mess anything up. Is your opinion still the same even though it did compile for me without the --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql option? Strange error it did not like -W?????? > -----Original Message----- > From: Bug Database [mailto:php-dev@lists.php.net] > Sent: Monday, September 06, 1999 9:54 PM > To: terry@dynavar.com; php-dev@lists.php.net > Subject: Bug #2254 Updated: will not compile with > --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql > > > ID: 2254 > Updated by: rasmus > Reported By: terry@dynavar.com > Status: Closed > Bug Type: Compile Failure > Assigned To: > Comments: > > Like INSTALL.REDHAT says, you need at least Apache-1.3.4 for this > to work.
