The reason is that different sites end up wanting different options compiled
in.
Some would want with mysql, some with oracle, some with pdflib6 some with
pdflib 2 etc, and all combinations of these, it is infinatly better (for
each site too) if administrator will take the small step in learning how to
configure and install themselves.
