From: schmidt4@rz.uni-greifswald.de Operating system: WinNT4; SP5; Apache 1.3.9 PHP version: 3.0.12 PHP Bug Type: Documentation problem Bug description: 'HTTP authentication with PHP' dosn't work Hi all, I can't get the mentioned example work on my system... every time I start the .phtml I get an 'error 500 - internal server error' from my Apache server. Even the shortest program: <? header("WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm=\"Test\""); header("HTTP/1.1 401 Authorization Required"); ?> results in an 'error 500'. There are no newlines or spaces in the file, only the 4 lines from above. Thanks, Jan Schmidt
