Please test a PHP 4.0 snapshot from [1]. I fixed this some time ago.

Note to the mailing list: If the bug database would contain
email dialogues, researching older bug reports would be much
easier. The web front-end is nice, but discussing is easier
through email. It would also allow third parties to comment
on the issue (who cannot append comments).
