Add these libraries to the EXTRA_LIBS environment variable before running
the Apache configure:
EXTRA_LIBS="-L-L/usr/products/informix/lib \
-L/usr/products/informix/lib/esql -lixsql -lixasf \
-lixgen -lixos -lixgls -laio /usr/products/informix/lib/esql/checkapi.o -lixglx" \
./configure --prefix=install-dir --activate-module=src/modules/php4/libphp4.a
This is what I do and it works.
