Bug description: magic_quotes_gpc behaviour incomptible with php3
The default compile time setting for magic_quotes_gpc has change
with respect to php3. There it was a configure option (changing
all magic_quote settings).
In php4 magic_quotes_gpc is on by default.
It caused me an hour to find out why my MySQL database started
storing \" and \' .
Might be an annoyance for future upgraders.
Regards
Gert
