How to compile PHP + Sybase + IMAP ?

I have a problem with compiling PHP with sybase and IMAP support.
I have RedHat 5.1, Apache 1.3.9, PHP 3.0.13, IMAP 4.7. If I compile
PHP --with-sybase and --with-imap it is impossible to connect to Sybase SQL
server. If I compile it separately (e.g. only with sybase or only with IMAP)
everything works fine.
I found out that this was reported as a bug and that it could be fixed by
renaming IMAP functions in c-client code. But I didn't succeed.
Could anybody tell me how to solve it or send me patched IMAP source code?
