Hi
I'm new in this list and should consider myself as a newbie in PHP.
That's the case: I am configuring a webmail client under the Horde/IMP
platform. Everything is very clean and fine. The IMP worked almost plug
& play.
I am using a test server configured with Mandrake 6.1 (Apache 1.3.9), a
custom compiled UW IMAP 4.5, a custom compiled PHP3 3.0.14 module with
--with-imap --with-mysql --with-apxs --enable-track-vars directives.
Everything just works fine, no FAILED message anywhere. Except for this:
The IMP works well, it allows me to see what's in my INBOX ( opened with
imap_open( "{localhost/POP3:110}INBOX","user","password" ) ). It also
lists it's contents very well. But it's all. I am not able to delete a
message, mark it as unread or create a mailbox. There's no error
message. It just doesn't do a thing.
What's the problem here? Is there some known bug that needs some patch?
To be more detailed, the following code doesn't work:
$mailbox = imap_open( "{localhost/pop3:110}INBOX","user","password" );
imap_createmailbox( $mailbox, "{localhost/pop3:110}mail/sent-mail" );
imap_close( $mailbox );
I mean, the problem is not in IMP, just ANY code that uses functions
like those will work. I conclude that it's something between the PHP and
IMAP.
Could anyone help me? It's something that I am supposed to finish this
week or someone will cut off my head. ^_ ^
Thanks
