Remember, this is still driver dependent and not all of them read $ODBCINI at all. 3) did you execute odbctest as same user as the httpd is running as, and from the same environment? Do you have $ODBCINI in httpd env? 4) Please don't tell us you are using iODBC 3 beta. If you do, contact maintainer for update, or downgrade to stabile release. 5) Why do you thing this have anything to do with PHP?
