Right. I went back to the snippet and assigned the output to a variable, and
again, it did not hold the last line of the command output, as specified
in the manual.

Yes. That's why I keep a cheap little linux box kicking around
to test stuff on.
I wasn't quite sure about this one, which is why I stayed on the list
and didn't alter the report. Thanks for the tutorial. ;)
