Yes, I had it all tested and running in my development Linux box but my
problem is that the production machine that I use is a Sun box of a ISP
on which I have a virtual server. I needed to update my PHP build to enable
PostgreSQL support since MySQL does not support transactions that I need in
a new application.
So I went to PHP site and downloaded the source code to rebuild PHP on my
account. Unlike Apache site, PHP site only seems to keep the very latest
stable version that was released. Apache site lists the latest and the
previous stable versions.
Anyway, it was not a serious problem because it only affected a virtual
site that has lower traffic than my most important sites.
