PHP version: 4.0 Release Candidate 1
PHP Bug Type: Installation problem
Bug description: /usr/bin/ld : modphp4 - No such File
After following below mentioned installation instructions, encountered the following error:
QUICK INSTALL (Static)
$ gunzip -c apache_1.3.x.tar.gz | tar xf -
$ cd apache_1.3.x
$ ./configure
$ cd ..
$ gunzip -c php-4.0.x.tar.gz | tar xf -
$ cd php-4.0.x
$ ./configure --with-mysql --with-apache=../apache_1.3.x --enable-track-vars
$ make
$ make install
Till this everything went smoothly.
$ cd ../apache_1.3.x
$ ./configure --prefix=/www --activate-module=src/modules/php4/libphp4.a
Here an error is encountered saying that
/usr/bin/ld : modphp4 - No such File
Not been able to find this particular file anywhere.
