Hello. I'm wondering if PHP lets you do the following:
Let's say one wrote a custom API to a database as an Apache shared object. Through mod_perl, one can write an abstraction layer, most likely as a package, to this API so that it can be accessed via CGI, embperl, or Mason.
Is this supported in PHP, or am I just smoking crack?
Thanks,
Robert
