Operating system: MS Windows 98
PHP version: 4.0 Release Candidate 2
PHP Bug Type: Installation problem
Bug description: Installation glitch with PWS on Win98
Installation was done in the following steps:
1) copy php4isapi.dll and php4ts.dll to \WINDOWS\SYSTEM as described
2) Register value into registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\w3svc\parameters\Script Map]
".php"="C:\\WINDOWS\\SYSTEM\\php4isapi.dll"
However, when the .php file is called, it says that a required file is missing.
For PHP to work, I need to move PHP4ISAPI.DLL to the following directory:
\Inetpub\scripts\Projects\php4\sapi\isapi\Release_TS_inline
Is there a reason for the above directory? In fact, the registered value in the registry does not
seem to affect where PHP4ISAPI.DLL is placed, and can be removed.
The above is noted in 4.0 RC1 as well.
