Devshed.com had a fairly good article which they titled, amusingly, "Couch
Sessions"

Yes it is possible to store the session in a database. I'm not sure if
sessions have been discussed yet on this list, but there are have been some
really good discussions about it on the old php3 list that is being
discontinued. I will probably start implementing session tracking in a
couple of weeks, and I know I will search the old list's archives about it.
There is some really good reference material in there.

hi!
i'm new to this list so i don't know if this topic was already discussed.
my questions:
isn't it possible to cipher the sessionfiles with a key that is only
readable by root ?
alternatively would it be possible to store the sessiondata in a database
(e.g.mysql)
