I don't mean to dismiss your helpfulness, and I appreciate the suggestion. But
I've thought of that too - I am quite capable of coming up with a workaround if
necessary. The question I want answered is whether or not a workaround will _be_
necessary!
So, to summarize for php-dev (probably more on topic for this list than
php-general), the question is twofold:
1. Is use() permanently deprecated, or just disabled for 4.0.0 until it can be
fixed/revised?
2. If it is permanently deprecated, would it be possible to have require_once()
and include_once() use the same list of included files, so that a file included
by require_once() will not be later included again by include_once()?
Thanks,
