PHP 4.0 Bug #4867: make install fails - sybase

Installed sybase-common and sybase-openclient rpms (11.9.2) Trying to compile PHP 4.0.0 as an apache module with the following flags: ./configure --prefix=/usr \ --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs \ --with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd \ --enable-safe-mode \ --with-exec-dir=/usr/bin \ --with-system-regex \ --disable-debug \ --with-zlib \ --enable-debugger \ --enable-magic-quotes \ --enable-track-vars \ --with-gdbm \ --enable-sysvsem \ --enable-sysvshm \ --with-xml \ --with-ftp \ --with-mysql=/usr \ --with-sybase=/opt/sybase-11.9.2 \ --with-sybase-ct=/opt/sybase-11.9.2 ./configure step runs fine - but make install fails.
