I'm thinking of adding Ingres native database support to PHP via
CA's "openapi" (C) interface. Looking through PHP code and Ingres's
hooke, the process appears to be somewhat similar to what already
exists for other databases in PHP.
There is a Linux Ingres II port, as well as versions for Solaris, NT,
and others.
Is there any opposition to this if done cleanly?
Is anyone working on this already?
