By the way, just so that everyone knows, there is a misfeature in the VIRTUAL_DIR support for Windows which I don't think we will ever be fixing.
If the cwd is c:\foo
And you want to open the directory d:blah
It will open d:\blah and not use d:'s current working directory for this. Actually it only knows the current working directory of the current drive and not the current working directory of all available drives.
I don't think this is a problem because I doubt anyone will bump into it, and if they do, we can always document it.
