Ok, I guess our implementation does have some mess on its own though, like the doc_root issue... I'm not too familiar with thissubject. Arethere any volunteers that are familiar with this issue, that would be willing to go over this code and fix it? Or at least look into it? :)The mess is not just ours. The problem is that every web server has a different set of variables and a different way they are set. There is not one correct portable way of doing this. If you clean it up and simplify it for one server, it will break on all other servers. To fix this, someone has to install all the major web servers and systematically go through and analyze each one. It also changed between versions of IIS, for example. -Rasmus -- Zeev Suraski <zeev@zend.com> http://www.zend.com/ -- PHP Development Mailing List <http://www.php.net/> To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-dev-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php-dev-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net
