hi,
oops, it was long ago...
i wanted the script.sh to be executed asynchronously while the
php script is processed until its end even if the script.sh
has not finished at that time.
but although i used the ampersand symbol the script.sh didn't
seem to fork. i had to call a wrapper script that in turn
called script.sh asynchronously.
