Good morning Sascha and all,
I have upgraded to FreeBSD 4.0 a while back, yes. Although you are saying
that the loads are virtual, but the web server was really having a delay
in delivering pages to requests. Is this a side effect of the virtual
loads that FreeBSD miscalculate, I have no clue.
In anycase, is there a solution to this, both for the virtual loads being
miscalculated you've reported, and the fact that PHP 3.0.xx had no problem
on FreeBSD 4.0 whereas PHP 4.0.0 did. Problem is high loads of the system
with no or minimal requests to the web server.
Thanks,
Noor
