Hello Stas and all,
You're trying to solve a problem with the wrong tools in hand. Both
compilations have the same hardware, memory and Internet connection. The
only thing that changed is the PHP version, from 3.0.xx to 4.0.0.
Even with no requests to the Apache web server, it has a high load with
PHP 4.0.0, and normal loads with PHP 3.0.xx.
Another question: would incompatible libraries, or old and unupdated
libraries, be the reason for such high loads?
Thanks all,
Noor
