:( huh - then please keep that mind, I think OO (yes, even if PHP never will become a fully OO language, I know) will become more important beeing an application server for killer-e-business projects in the closer future
is it possible to watch the state of development of the zend *compiler* and/or *cache*, I couldn´t find anything on zend.com except the information "later released this year"...

"...PHP isn´t optimized for OO (yet)" <-- yet is the word Because almost every script which thinks becoming more complex is OO in my own code archive and I would extremely looking forward optimizing the whole OO execution time. I´m not a C dev, can I do something speeding the process up though? Not really. Improving the OO performance of PHP is a very complex, low-level process. If at all possible, it would take lots of hard low level C work. What´s the state of the OO optimization (existing thought, existing project, project at work...)? Status is currently non existent.
