You are making some serious progress - congrats!

This is not the definitive answer, but I ASSUMED that you did it with basic
method calls. The attributes map to two operations: get_* and set_*. If you
run across an attribute, I assume you can call DII with those function
names.However, I have never done this, so am not sure.

Well, I hope what I sent you made some sense, and was at all useful. It
looks like you are forging ahead much faster than I could. My C is a bit
rusty, and all my corba work is done in C++. So I was having to figure out
the C mapping, figure out how PHP worked, and try to remember all the C
library calls at once - not to mention working through ORBit bugs :)
Needless to say it was moving pretty slowly. However, that being said, if
there is any way I can help, just shout.
