out of dynamic memory in yy_create_buffer()

Sometimes I get this fatal error.
Function yy_create_buffer exists in C-code of PHP. It appears when malloc
can't allocate memory.
Lately I get this error on line 2 of my PHP code where was: require("xxxx.inc.php").
So there is no more memory to parse the PHP code.
I can't say when it happens.
What can I do ?
Change configuration of PHP ?
Change configuration of Linux ?
It is funny because there is virtual memory so in what way there is too
little memory ?
