WOW! I have been battling this all morning!!! I have a control panel and it's running under the secure server. I go to the page and the session is created. and the cookie is set. I then login and I want to use the same session and I register the variables in it. Well, that session does get the login information without a problem but by the end of the script a new session blank session has been created and the written variables not accessible. Oh, and the global $SID variable always returns blank so I manually pass through PHPSESSID and it still will just forget that I passed and create a new session. Even if I manually do session_id($PHPSESSID) it won't take it. Now I know the heart of the problem, I don't know how to fix it. I am posting this also to the developers list to see if they have any answers. Also, I suggest we look at http://bugs.php.net to see if this is already reported. I found it interesting that on 6/28/00 1:56 PM Brett M. Delia said: > We currently have two web servers. One is running perfectly.
