But we all know how unreliable and slow NFS is on linux and probably other
platforms, a better solution is to use your database of choice and store
cookies there.
An article on phpbuilder.com
(http://phpbuilder.com/columns/ying20000602.php3) highlights how to write
custom session handlers to do just that.
not only would this be fast and effecient, it would allow multiple webserver
to pull sessions from a common database.
