I'm not sure what has happened. I downloaded and compiled PHP-4.0.1pl2. After installing, Apache would start but no data was sent. The error_log file revealed the following.
Last leak repeated 5 times
zend_hash.c(255) : Freeing 0x081A0A14 (41 bytes), script=/home/development/services/ivn_schedule2/views/view_month.php

This is a RedHat 6.0 system running a 2.2.16 kernel.
Options in compiling were
--with-apxs --enable-memory-limit --enable-versioning --with-gnu-ld --with-regex=php --enable-trans-sid --with-openssl=/usr/local/ssl --with-pdflib=/usr/src/pdflib-3.0 --with-mysql=/usr --with-pgsql=/usr --with-ttf --enable-freetype-4bit-antialias-hack --with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var --enable-calendar --with-gd=/usr --with-cpdflib=/usr --enable-track-vars --disable-magic-quotes
I haven't seen anything like this in the lists, so I'm wondering if it's something wrong with my system...
