It's doable. We just need to agree on the suffix. There are
.C
.cpp
.cxx
.cc
.C sucks, because some OS use case-insensitive filenames.
.cpp sucks, because cpp is the C preprocessor.
So, it is either .cxx or .cc. Any preferences?
