Looks very nice. How do people know who is grouped with which package and what topic each package is?

There are over 800! open bug reports. It would be really great if in the next few weeks php-dev could focus more on those and less on new features. I think a lot of those bug reports aren't bogus and probably aren't too hard to fix but it needs to be a group effort because non of us has enough time/strength to close a big amount ourselves. I really think it is more important to stabilize PHP 4 as much as possible right now and not to implement new features. We can still talk about new features but it seems to me that most of the energy is going towards new code when the old code is still not bug free.Sounds good to me - I will recheck the status on the bugs that I have already evaluated and close whatever I can. I have attached a list of the bugs so that people can see what I am working on. Also, I have broken the open bugs for 4.0 into 23 packages of about 30 reports each. The bugs reports in these packages are not related or grouped - they are simply there so that we can each grab a distinct group of reports and clear as many bugs out from it as possible. The bugs page should be accessible at http://qa.php.net/bugs.php in a few minutes. If people could step forward grab a package of bugs to work on, that would be fantastic. Don't worry about closing every bug - just close what you can and move on. Please let the php-qa list know what bugs you have closed or updated - or - if you do not have CVS access, what bugs you think can be closed or updated. I will update the bugs page as people close bugs. If anyone has any comments, criticisms or suggestions please let me know. I think that this should be the fastest way to clear out bugs - or at least the fastest way to clear out the simple bugs. :) Zak Greant Creative Director Nucleus Information Service Inc.
