unfortunately the fseek and ftell functions do not work with remote files (Http:// etc), filesize() seems not to work too, what can I else try? Do I need FTP?
$fp=fopen('http://www2.rk-online.de/pdf/pdficon.gif','r');
echo filesize('http://www2.rk-online.de/pdf/pdficon.gif');
echo fseek($fp,0,SEEK_END );
echo ftell($fp);
regards
