so i would suggest the following patch:
zend_execute.c line 2330ff
case ZEND_BEGIN_SILENCE:
Ts[opline->result.u.var].tmp_var.value.lval = EG(error_reporting);
Ts[opline->result.u.var].tmp_var.type = IS_LONG;
- EG(error_reporting) = 0;
+ EG(error_reporting) = E_ERROR | E_USER_ERROR;
