Corba Bindings to PHP

does anyone know if there are (or plans) for a corba interface for PHP? i think such a thing would be good, as it would allow a devloper to add functionality to PHP without effecting the stability of PHP itself. ie, you could provide the corba interface to devlopers instead of having them use the PHP stubs. i can think of MANY times where this would have been helpful in my current project. (size = 15000 lines) for instance - i need to build a messaging subsystem for the project now. rather than use PHP to write the system - i would like to have been able to call the objects from the subsystem (which would be written in a Cish type language) to interact with in PHP. If there is no current thing like this for PHP i would be very inclined to work on it. JLS
