its neither a bug not a feature, its just a fact
from a PERL point of view you might call it a missing feature,
but it is definetly *not* a bug

enough about it?
OK, i just changed it from
\n newline
\r carriage
to
\n linefeed (LF or 0x0A in ASCII)
\r cariage return (CR or 0x0D in ASCII)
