sorry for the late resonse
but only just got back from holiday
the command line used was :
./configure --prefix=/apps/nse/php --with-nsapi=/apps/nse --with-mysql
--with-config-file-path=/apps/nse/php/conf
nse is the install dir for netscape iplanet 4.0 sp3
