this simple script crashes after a refresh

session_register("ttt");
echo ++ $ttt->id ;
?>
it gives
Fatal error: Cannot increment/decrement overloaded objects nor string offsets in
/home/httpd/jvc/test.idea on line 4
on previous versions it works
