Does this feature sounds like something that would be useful to you guys? If we decide that it is, my thoughts about the subject is that in place of $php_errormsg, PHP will define $php_error, which would be an array that would contain all the necessary information. To avoid breaking backwards compatibility, I'd add this as an extra feature in addition to track_errors, perhaps extended_track_errors. very useful :) as I stated before, It´ll be a big + to have at least __FILE__ and __LINE__in far function
calls (for guys using their own error hanling methods) *BUT* if you´ll implement that $php_error hing I could do it as follows @mysql_query('invalid query') OR $error->throw(BAD_THING_LEVEL); [...]
function throw($error_level)    {
  var_dump($php_error; // contains __LINE__ and __FILE__ and a few others things
} ok. but what information else did you think of? andré
