PHP Bug Type: Misbehaving function
Bug description: exec() and system() cannot fork in php4isapi.dll
Bug number 6542 could not be edited because it wants a CVS user id and password. When a bug report
is filed, only a password is prompted so the report could later be edited. This just does not work.
Where is the CVS user id specified in the bug report creation.
Amend report 6542 with:
I just discovered that the problem with the "no fork" is only with the php4isapi.dll
version. When I replaced it with php.exe (which I used with 4.0.1pl2), then the exec() and system()
functions worked properly.
The .dll and the .exe are just not equivalent.
