There is an interface for the bug poster to edit a bug
report - there is also a separate interface for the
developers and other bug hunters to modify bug reports. You
ran across the developers version go to
http://bugs.php.net/bugs.php?id=6542&edit=2
to get to the
right version.

in the bug report creation.

only with the php4isapi.dll version. When I replaced it
with php.exe (which I used with 4.0.1pl2), then the exec()
and system() functions worked properly.
