At the same time, I'm curious as to the need for both
php4/main/main.c:php_log_error AND
ext/standard/basic_functions.c:_php_error_log.
Isn't there some way we can eliminate one or the other of these, or at
least have one of them simply be a wrapper or something? It would make
less code to maintain. An example is that php_log_error prints the date
& time, while _php_error_log does not. I actually have a patch ready to
fix that, but it's not an ideal solution.
